What is SF Training?

A 4-day, 2-hours-per-day in-person training packed with practical exercises, mock mentorship workshops, and real interactions with entrepreneurs and mentors. You will gain hands-on knowledge of how the entrepreneurial ecosystem functions and how you can play a vital role in supporting it.

Why SF Training?

The SF Training is crafted to prepare aspiring ecosystem enablers with the mindset, tools, and practical skills needed to support early-stage entrepreneurs. This training is designed to create confident, well-prepared fellows who can thrive in incubation programs, accelerators, or startup support initiatives.

What to Expect?

Over 4-days, you will dive into interactive workshops, peer learning activities, and mock mentorship simulations. You will receive a Startup Fellow workbook, a certificate of completion, and direct exposure to Nepal’s startup and innovation community.

Who is a Startup Fellow (SF)?

A Startup Fellow (SF) is someone who acts as a bridge between mentors and entrepreneurs during the mentorship journey. They support startups by helping with documentation, scheduling mentorship sessions, and guiding entrepreneurs to stay on track with their goals.

What are the roles and responsibilities of SF?

SF assists in business documentation, helps entrepreneurs figure out their next steps, schedules mentorship sessions, reminds them of tasks, and provides motivational and logistical support throughout their journey in respective incubation program.

Who can apply?

Applicants with end semesters of bachelors, graduates and masters students with IT and business background are highly preferable,or individuals with a study gap who are interested in exploring opportunities in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and are willing to commit to the training and potential full-time roles.

What skills can participants gain for this training?

Participants will learn business communication, professional work ethics, networking & coordination, business plan development, and problem-solving through mock workshops and exercises.

What is the selection process for the training?

All applicants will first attend a virtual orientation. After that, 15 participants will be selected for the in-person training based on a shortlisting process who will then have to pay a commitment fee of Rs.800/-. ( Note: The Rs. 800 commitment fee is the registration cost to secure your spot in the training. It shows your seriousness in participating and covers basic training logistics and materials.)

Where will the training take place?

The Startup Fellowship Training is in-person, conducted over 4 days with 2-hour sessions each day from 4 pm to 6 pm, at KGS Inc./Briddhi’s office in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu. Date of training will be informed after the selection.

Are there any post training opportunities?

Yes, 2 fellows will be selected for a 3-month full-time Startup Fellow role with remuneration, and others will be shortlisted for future onboarding. Also the participants will receive a Startup Fellow workbook and a certificate of completion.
