The Green, Inclusive, and Resilient Entrepreneurship Ecosystem (GIREE) Alliance is a pioneering initiative aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) region. Institutions from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and the Netherlands, led by ICIMOD, have collaboratively established this regional alliance. The GIREE Alliance seeks to empower mountain communities by fostering innovative and sustainable business models that contribute to green growth, inclusivity, and resilience. KGS Inc. is the Nepal chapter and secretariat of the GIREE Alliance.
