Nature Based Solutions (NbS)
Innovation Challenge and Business Incubation Program

KGS Inc. partnered with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and the Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI) to implement the Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) Innovation Challenge and Business Incubation Program.

The initiative supported entrepreneurs and startups developing innovative business solutions rooted in nature, with a focus on creating green livelihoods, strengthening mountain economies, and addressing climate and environmental challenges.

Two cohorts were successfully implemented, creating a pipeline of entrepreneurs working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, biodiversity, climate resilience, and sustainable resource use.
